SUBSTANCE: invention in essence relates to compositions of labelled sediments inhibitor and methods for sediments inhibiting. In particular, claimed invention relates to imidazole-containing labelled polymer inhibitors of sediments, intended for application in processing of water and/or oil fields. Described is method for determining concentration of copolymer, which inhibits sediments, for inhibition of sediments formation, including introduction of effective quantity of copolymer, which inhibits sediments, into medium, measurement of fluorescence signal, corresponding to imidazole fragment, and determination of sediments-inhibiting copolymer concentration on the basis of fluorescence signal.
EFFECT: imidazole-containing copolymers provide properties to inhibit sediments and in addition make it possible to realise monitoring of levels of sediments inhibitor in the process of oil production or apply in mining.
