FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cured prepreg strip, a method of making a plurality of prepreg strips from a prepreg sheet, use of a flexible polymer sheet on the outer side of the prepreg and a method of plating multiple strips. The cured prepreg strip includes unidirectional fibres oriented on the length of the strip. The fibres are at least partially soaked with curable thermosetting resin. A flexible polymer sheet is placed on the outer side of the strip, where the strip has a substantially rectangular cross-section which determines the width and thickness of the strip.
EFFECT: invention improves the quality of the obtained articles.
