FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering, environmental and civil engineering and can be used to create impervious devices (from geosynthetic materials) in grounds, preferably on irrigation canals, ponds and tailings ponds. Combined screen includes impervious polymeric web (high-strength polymer geomembrane made of high-grade raw materials consisting of low-pressure high-density polyethylene with soot content of not more than 1.0-1.5 %, 0.4 mm thickness, surface density > 0 96 g/cm3), and an underlying protective layer. Polymer geomembrane 1 is laid on prepared sandy base 9 with thickness of 0.2-0.3 m, and is made from glauconite drainage layer of sand 10 with thickness of 0.3-0.4 m, coated with woven geotextile 2 of high density, 1,000-1,200 g/m2. On top of woven geotextile 2 is arranged a protective coating 7: on tailing ponds - of riprap or gravel, thickness of 0.3-0.4 m; on irrigation canals - of concrete, thickness 0.1-0.15 m; on reservoirs - from ground, thickness of 0.5 m. Higher durability and waterproofness of impervious screen is provided. Expected life of impervious screens combined with use of geosynthetic materials is more than 100 years.
EFFECT: use of combined impervious screen at irrigation channels and reservoirs allows saving water at 20-30 % due to exclusion of filtration, as well as creating more favourable ecological situation on wastes.
