FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to controllers for protection of fibre-optic lines (FOL) from attempts to tap the optical signal and can be used as a universal technical protection means (TDPM) of the limited access data transmitted over an uncontrolled territory. Controller for protection of fibre-optic lines comprises a generator whose output is connected to the input of an optical transmitter, an optical switching center and series-connected optical receiver, amplifier with automatic gain control, band-pass filter, level detector, controller and alarm device; at that, the second outlet of the controller is connected to the input of the optical switching centre, the output of which is the output of the device into the fibre-optic line, the third outlet of the controller is connected to the input of a matching device, the output of which is connected to the second input of the amplifier with automatic gain control, optical insulator, the input of which is connected to the output of the optical transmitter, the first optical filter, the first input of which is an optical input of the device, the second input is connected to the output of the optical isolator, the wavelength of which corresponds to the wavelength of the optical transmitter, and the output is connected to the optical input of the optical switching center, the second optical filter, the optical input of which is an optical input of the device from the fibre-optic line, the first output is connected to the input of the optical receiver, and the second output is the output of the device.

EFFECT: technical result consists in creation of a highly sensitive controller for protection of FOL independent of information signals parameters.
