SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the controllers of protecting multi-span fiber-optic transmission lines (FOTL) from attempts to retract the optical signal, and may be used as a technical information protection means (TIPM) of the restricted access in the multi-span fiber-optic transmission lines with optical amplifiers. Logarithmic controller of protecting the multi-span fiber-optic lines comprises a switch, the input of which is coupled to the first output of the microcontroller, the second output of which is coupled to the input of the signal device, the output of the optical switch is the output of the controller into the fiber-optic line, an optical splitter, the input of which is the input of the controller from the line, and the first output is the output of the controller, a series-connected photodiode and a logarithmic amplifier, the output of which is coupled to the input of the microcontroller, and the input of photodiode is coupled to the second output of the optical splitter, wherein the input of the optical switch is the input of the controller.
EFFECT: spreading the control of the average optical signal power from the last flight of the entire multi-span fiber-optic transmission line.
