FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for determination of aircraft engine thrust. Method is based on measurement of air flow velocity head, involves measurement of angle of attack and overload along aircraft lengthwise axis. Based on obtained data, taking into account constants, characterising structure and aerodynamics of tested aircraft, such as equivalent area of aircraft wing angle of engine axis deviation from aircraft lengthwise axis, output pulse, acceleration of gravity, weight of aircraft, determining effective engine thrust by least-squares method, wherein for determining effective engine thrust is successive maneuvers of diving and pitching with constant thrust in whole operating range of altitudes and speeds.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of thrust measurement accuracy.
