A server computer comprising: a processor and a computer-readable medium coupled to the processor, wherein the computer-readable medium includes a processor-executable code for executing a method comprising: receiving the first authorisation request message associated with a passive or active account containing the first verification value; verifying the first verification value; generating the second authorisation request message based on the first authorisation request message containing a validation indicator which indicates the validity of the first verification value, and the second verification value which replaces the first verification value if the first verification value is valid; and sending the second authorisation request message to an issuer computer which is managed by the issuer of the passive or active account.
EFFECT: providing safe transaction processing.
