FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a belt structure for an absorbent article. This belt structure extends through at least one of the front and rear waist areas and consists of a filler material and the waist material located on top of the filler material. The belt structure may be connected to at least one of the front and the rear waist areas with a connection pattern. The connection pattern may change the position in the longitudinal direction and have at least one highest point and one lowest point in the respective waist area. Typically, the distance between the highest and lowest points of the connection pattern is from 5 to 100 mm.
EFFECT: connection pattern provides a change in the height of the belt structure in the Z-axis direction in the corresponding waist area.
