FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: claimed device and process for tape application onto the web in nonlinear pattern. Claimed device comprises the guide mechanism incorporating the tape guide actuating it at laying on the web moving in the first direction. It incorporates the actuator of the guide gear roller reciprocation back and forth in displacement axis. Note here that said displacement axis is not parallel with the said first direction.
EFFECT: application of tap on the web moving at high linear speed.
