SUBSTANCE: invention relates to special engineering in production of primers and can be used for production of primers of cartridges of small arms. Lug anvil for cap primer detonating has three lugs with anvil radius ratio to its height equal to 1.0±0.2 and is made by combining operations and convolution part on single die mounted at press, of metal band with time resistance of not more than 45 kgf/mm² in one pass with application of puncheon and matrix. Press force on one seat die should be not less than product of square section of lug anvil with ultimate strength of metal strip. For tape, from which anvils are made can be used brass band with time resistance of not more than (30-42) kgf/mm².

EFFECT: invention ensures failure-free operation of primers and safe operation both at capped cartridge case, and assembly of cap primer itself.
