SUBSTANCE: respirator (10) comprising a housing (14) of the mask, a socket element (15) of the filter cartridge, and the filter cartridge (12). The filter cartridge (12) has a side wall (30) made with the ability of plug connection with a socket element (15). The filter cartridge (12) can be inserted in the proper position into the socket element (15) in putting on the housing (14) of the mask. Fixing can be performed without the visual control of the user of actual fixing. To alert the user that due fixing was achieved, an audible click or other signal may be provided. When fixing a small distance between the filter cartridge (12) and the housing (14) of the mask may be provided.
EFFECT: improvement of overview for the user, providing a more comfortable wearing the claimed respirator.
