FIELD: nuclear physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used primarily for transfer of part of detachable main circulation pump in nuclear reactors with liquid metal coolant. Grip is a housing in which rotary axes there are three levers interacting with adapter, which is fixed on a part of the detachable MCP. On gripping levers are mounted rollers interacting with rotary guide block, which provides opening and closing for interaction with control drive grip. Gripping case retained spider, which is installed on carriage mounted on a chain drive for moving grip. Spider is with provided pairwise mounted rollers interacting with guides installed inside container. On lower end there is a hole capture to maintain orientation of part of detachable MCP during movement.

EFFECT: broader technological capabilities of gripping device, improvement of radiation and nuclear safety, higher reliability under high temperatures and provision of axial and angular positioning part of detachable MCP during overload.
