DISPOSABLE MULTI-NEEDLE HEAD FOR INJECTIONS AND PRE-FILLED SYRINGE Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61M5/32

Abstract RU 2581253 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical and cosmetic equipment, and particularly to disposable multi-needle head for injections and filled syringe with disposable multi-needle head for injections. Disposable head for micro injections comprises lower needle holder, upper needle holder, through hole in upper plug and at least two hollow needles. Lower needle holder in form of tubular cylinder is open at one end and has upper plug at other end and can be coupled with injection preparation capsule. Upper needle holder is located above upper plug of lower needle-holder with cavity formed between upper holder and upper plug. Through hole in upper plug is intended for connection of tubular cylinder with cavity. For extraction of injection unit from capsule into cavity in through hole there is pull-in needle, one end of which is interconnected with cavity, and other end is located in tubular cylinder. At least two hollow needles are arranged in upper needle holder, each of which has at one end point for piercing and injection, and other end is installed on top needle holder and communicates with cavity. Upper and lower needle holders, distinguished from each other, are separate elements. Upper plug is equipped with mounting flange made integral with lower needle holder and is intended for fastening and sealing of upper and lower needle holders, and upper needle holder is fixed and sealed relative to mounting board. Preliminary filled disposable syringe includes above disposable multi-needle head for injections and capsule with injection preparation. Capsule with injection preparation represents closed container, preliminary filled with liquid medicine, and is completely or partially located in tubular cylinder of lower needle-holder. Upper side of container is designed to puncture the pull-in needle, and lower side is equipped with moving element or piston. When using container is manually turned and/or depressed so that pull-in needle pierces upper side of container and moving element or piston at lower side of closed container push injection preparation through pull-in needle.

EFFECT: using inventions enables vertical subcutaneous drug injection, fast, without loss, painless, safe and convenient in marked points, such as hand, abdomen, hips, buttocks, et cetera, at same time on firm ground to avoid intramuscular injections, as well as make use of syringe more convenient.
