FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method is performed by use of the device to form the tubular items out of the composite materials, it contains a base, two straight plates connected with movable levers, flexible sheet secured to the plates, and mandrel. Wherein the movable levers have a resilient element, on which the plates are installed, the plates are made in form of segment strips hingedly secured between each other and located vertically and parallel to each other with possibility of the reciprocating movement towards the mandrels. Wherein the mandrels are located parallel to each other with distance between axes at least 1.5 of diameter of the formed item.
EFFECT: increased uniformity of deformation of the formed material, increased capacity and reliability of the device.
