FIELD: electronic equipment.

SUBSTANCE: lighting system (100) comprises a source (110) of light to radiate light (116), device (150) to control light source (110), the first communication channel from light source (110) to device (150) and the second communication channel from device (150) to light source (110). First communication channel is formed by modulation of information in irradiated light (116) of light source (110). Light source (110) comprises generator (118) of interrogation call, transmitter (112) of the light source, receiver (122) of the light source and authorisation device (120). Generator (118) of interrogation call generates interrogation call with cryptographic function, receiving argument containing the first cryptographic key. Transmitter (112) of the light source transmits interrogation call using the first communication channel. Receiver (122) of the light source receives a response from the device using second communication channel. Authorisation device (120) authorises device (150) to control light source (110) by comparing the received response with a reference signal, and if the received response coincides with the reference signal, device (150) is authorised. Device (150) comprises receiver (152) of the device, generator (154) of response and transmitter (156) of the device. Receiver (152) of the device receives interrogation call using the first communication channel. Generator (154) response generates response with a cryptographic function, which receives arguments containing received questionnaire call and the second cryptographic key. Transmitter (156) of the device sends a response to the light source with a second communication channel.

EFFECT: prevention of mixing different remote controllers in coded lighting system.
