FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drilling equipment, and can be used during well drilling by percussion rotary method. Pneumatic hammer mechanism comprises a housing in which is located a piston forming with its chamber walls of working and idling, coupler made with a central channel and side channels in its wall, and on outer adapter surface an annular groove in which is mounted preloaded flexible valve in form of a torus, forming with body and adapter a valve pot, and with housing walls - a channel for inlet of fuel into operating cycle chamber. In central channel of adapter there is a valve rod with an axial channel and sleeve with main channel and holes, which main channel is connected to valve pot through said side channels in wall of adapter. Sleeve is made with a bottom, which is covered by its main channel, and in adapter in zone of inner bearing surface of said valve in annular groove, there are holes for periodic linking of valve pot through central channel of adapter with slide valve rod axial channel.
EFFECT: increased impact energy and reduced length of mechanism.
