FIELD: soil or rock drilling.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining and construction – to drilling equipment, is used for drilling wells by the rotary-shock method. Pneumatic impact mechanism comprises a housing with a drill bit, in which a piston is located, forming a working and idle stroke chamber with its walls, adapter for connection with pressure main line of energy carrier, having central channel and overlapping therein, made integral with adapter and separating its central channel to rear part, interconnected with side channels in adapter wall, and front part communicated with holes in annular groove bottom made along adapter outer lateral surface, in which is installed with pre-tension elastic valve in the form of toroid, forming with housing and adapter above-valve cavity, interconnected with pressure main through said side channels in wall adapter, and rear part of its central channel, and with housing walls – channel for energy carrier inlet into working stroke chamber, wherein said elastic valve is installed with possibility of periodic opening of energy carrier inlet channel from above above-valve cavity into idle stroke chamber, which includes holes in bottom of said annular groove of adapter, front part of its central channel and axial channel of slide valve rod, directly connected with central channel of piston. Slide rod is installed in bore of adapter made at its front end face in front part of its central channel, and is fixed in adapter by cylindrical rod installed in through hole made from side surface of adapter and aligned with through hole made in slide valve rod.

EFFECT: simplified design, reduced losses of energy carrier head at filling of idle stroke chamber, increased operational reliability.
