FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cold metal forming, particularly, to methods and devices for straightening and stabilization of long cylindrical parts sizes. Radial load applied to billet ends, workpiece ends are fixed hinged, radial load is created by roller arranged at point of maximum bending of workpiece axis, and workpiece is revolved about its axis.
EFFECT: quality of stabilisation of geometrical parameters is increased due to elimination of residual stresses.
