FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to control internal combustion engines, primarily, two-stroke engines. Method of Internal combustion engine control consists in the fact that after release of combustion products from working cylinder (1) through outlet element of gas distribution in exhaust manifold (9) one reduce the passage section area of outlet manifold (9) by valve body (10), thus increasing pressure in the exhaust manifold (9) between cylinder (1) and valve body (10), and using increased pressure in said section of exhaust manifold (9) prevent the charge output from cylinder (1). Change the flow section of exhaust manifold (9) within the complete operating cycle of engine, increasing flow section of exhaust manifold (9) to maximum at the beginning of the next combustion products release from cylinder (1). Section of exhaust manifold (9) is changed during each working cycle, whereupon the maximum value of area covering exhaust manifold section (9) is changed during operation cycle depending on engine operating mode.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increased bypassing of partial charge from exhaust manifold back into the cylinder.
