FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: in slot scavenging two-stroke engines spool 10 changes over communication of channel 9 with exhaust manifold 10 to communication with intake receiver 17 coupled with intake main line at the end of exhaust of gases from cylinder 4 through intake-exhaust port 8 and intake-exhaust channel 9. This done, fresh charge gets into cylinder 4 simultaneously through scavenging port 6 communicating with crank chamber 2 through scavenging channel and through port 8 communicating with intake main line. Filling of crank chamber 2 takes place during movement of piston 5 from bottom dead center after opening of lower port 8 by its lower edge. So, delivery of fresh charge is provided continuously even in one-cylinder engine (except for short-time overlapping of port 8 by side surface of piston 5 and at beginning of exhaust). This provides filling of cylinder 4 during minimum time and at minimum expenses by increasing time-section of gas distributing members. Simultaneously with solving the problem of filling, problem of engine temperature stresses is also solved. Heat from surface of most heated parts (edges of port 8, walls of channel 9, piston 5) after exhaust stroke is removed instantaneously by passing fresh cold charge through these parts practically during entire cycle till the next exhaust stroke.
