FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: what is described is a method for bioceramic coating deposition on implants made of biocompatible metals and alloys by mixing hydroxyapatite powder with the biologically compatible binding agent, which is presented by phosphate bonds in the bond/powder ratio of 1.0-1.5:1.5-2.0; the produced suspension is added with silver nanoparticles in the suspension/silver nanoparticle ratio 1.0-1.1:0.01-0.03. The suspension is deposited on an implant surface, dried, and the implant with the coated silver suspension is thermally treated in the environment of inductive heating at the power consumption of 0.20-0.25 kW, inductor current frequency of 90±10 kHz and duration of 1.0-1.5 min.
EFFECT: method is technologically simple and enables the effective deposition of the silver hydroxyapatite powder with bactericidal properties on metal implants.
