FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lithium-carbon electrochemical capacitor and method of its production. Inside temperature-controlled volume of condenser there is positive electrode made of carbon nano-material with high specific surface of mixture of highly porous activated carbon with carbon nano-scales and carbon nanotubes, to which added oxide lithium compounds, negative electrode of lithium-carbon nano-composite, fine graphite with or without addition of nano-particles of metallic lithium. Method of producing lithium-carbon electrochemical capacitor includes preparation of electrode mixtures for cathode and anode; dispersion prepared electrode mixture with binding; pressing plates or sheets; drying moulded plates or sheets in inert atmosphere or under vacuum; connection of pressed plates or sheets, filled with electrolyte based on soluble lithium salt and solvent in dry conditions; vacuum treatment of filled in assembly in squeezed condition and its sealing; preliminary electrochemical treatment for formation of lithium-carbon nano-composite.

EFFECT: increasing in specific capacity and service life of capacitor.
