FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to landing gear drive systems particularly spin wheels at landing and braking after landing. Prior to landing, each wheel chassis is rotated at peripheral speed equal to speed of aircraft, mounted on them of electric machines, which are supplied from battery, and braking is performed after landing. Each wheel chassis is turned and decelerated by electromagnetic method using magnetoelectric electromechanical converter with circular winding containing armature magnet core, electroconductive inductor made double in form of two hollow cylinders of permanent magnets, on which voltage is supplied from battery in motor mode in driving and reverse mode at braking.
EFFECT: possibility to align circumferential speed of each wheel chassis with rate of aircraft at landing and control of angular speed of rotation of each wheel at rolling and braking.
