FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of processing of mica in order to obtain new plate material, which can be used in radiation protection in nuclear industry, as well as heat, sound, and electric insulating material. Method of processing of mica by holding it in heated acid solution with further washing and drying mica is finely split plates, as acid used is highly concentrated formic acid, maintenance in last is carried out in two stages, after second maintenance stage is performed neutralisation of acid medium, wherein first stage holding in formic acid one additionally introduces finely ground wormwood herb or sage or chamomile or rosemary, or gingko biloba, after holding not more than hour at temperature not exceeding temperature of flash acid, mixture of acid with grass and mica plates is cooled to room temperature and held for 50-150 hours, this stage is repeated at least 7 times, then plates are removed from mixture, at second stage holding of mica in fresh formic acid same concentration is additionally introduced quartz sand, step is carried out similarly to first stage mode and in same amount of extracted after neutralisation of plate is washed with prepared suspension consisting of water, milk, table salt and finely ground silicate group olivine. In method of neutralising acidic medium is performed by adding mixture of acid with plates of mica and quartz sand sodium hypochlorite. Method also involve use of olivinite as silicate of olivine group.
EFFECT: obtaining thin plate material with high radiation resistance.
