FIELD: blasting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to explosive propulsive devices, which can be used during testing of military equipment. Method of delay breakthrough of explosion products on periphery of throwing plate-striker in explosive propulsive device involves landing of plate edges-striker in slots made in adjacent elements of explosive propulsive device. Edge of striker plate and mating slots are made with wedge-like profile, face of striker plate facing charge of explosive substance is made with larger area than area of its opposite face.
EFFECT: ensured is destruction of throwing plate edges-striker, reduction of velocity gradient arising as result of deformation of peripheral zone of plate-striker, and providing tight contact of peripheral zone of plate-striker with adjacent elements of explosive propulsive device.
