FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical instrument making and can be used for systems of automatic measurement of concentration of gases. Method of measuring concentration of gases is based on measuring displacement of interference pattern, which is located on path of one of beams, capable of interfering. Value of displacement is proportional to difference between refraction indices of light of analysed gas mixture and atmospheric air involves recording of digital images of interference patterns with and without gas. Method includes picking up signals of same row and formed by two triads of matrices, and then comparing for each pixel three RGB colour components by shifting matrix describing interference pattern of gas to one pixel to left until all triads on colour components, wherein moment of match of intensity for all pixels for all colour components is fixed and obtained average value of difference (shift) characterises measured gas concentration.
EFFECT: higher safety of measurements, continuous automated control and remote reading of measurement results, high accuracy, efficiency and reliability of measurements.
