SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes a conveyor, reading unit with a video camera, sorting mechanisms, analysis and control unit connected to the unit for reading and grading machines. A reading unit equipped with a laser source located above the conveyor belt and projecting it onto a laser line, oriented perpendicular to the direction of movement of the fish. Under the conveyor belt is a weight sensor associated with the analysis and control unit, which is programmed to sequentially calculating the volume of the fish and the specific weight of the fish. Sorting arrangements are designed as guide vanes associated with the stepper motors and mounted oppositely on both sides of the conveyor with the possibility of alternating the rotation in a horizontal plane above the conveyor belt for the removal of a carcass from the conveyor in a given direction.

EFFECT: device provides sorting fish salinity in accordance with its specific gravity.
