SUBSTANCE: MR-scan is performed using system of physical arrangement of coils comprising a set of individual transmission coils, wherein coils are arranged to transmit desired RF field to object-transmission for magnetic resonance spin excitation object. Each coil is associated with physical transmission channel, RF-field transmission corresponds to virtual package of two or more of said coils. Features of virtual transmission channels having weight of virtual channels are assigned to RF-transmission field, said weight virtual transmission channels describing virtual complex amplitudes of RF-fields in each of individual coils of virtual package of coils, to be applied to individual coils to generate RF-transmission fields.
EFFECT: improved method for emulating virtual coil for use in magnetic resonance imaging, improved emulation and enhanced magnetic resonance imaging.
