FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for magnetic resonance imaging. Invention consists in that proposed system of RF cavity resonator containing multiport RF cavity resonator (40, 50, 60), like, for example, volumetric coil type TEM or resonator type TEM, or coil of “bird cage”, from which all, in particular, in form of local coil similar head coil or coil for the whole body, and multiple channels (T/RCh1, ..., T/RCh8) transmitting and/or receiving to control operation of multi-port RF cavity resonator for transmitting RF excitation signals and/or to receive MR relaxation signals to/from the object survey or its part. By selecting separately each port (P1, ..., P8) and corresponding amplitude and/or frequency and/or phase and/or forms pulses RF signals of transfer in accordance with physical properties of object survey inside object survey excite resonant RF mode with high uniformity by RF resonator.

EFFECT: enabling generation of required distribution of resultant magnetic field inside space for analysis.
