FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to carrier (1) for carrying and moving a welding torch, cutting torch or other corresponding torch (6) at a work site. Carrier (1) comprises a frame, which is arranged movable on a base, as well as a bracket arrangement (5) of torch (6) for detachably attaching torch (6) to carrier (1). Bracket arrangement (5) comprises connection means (5a) for connecting to carrier (1), attachment means (6a) for attaching torch (6) to bracket arrangement (5), and at least one connection part (17) for connecting connection means (5a) and attachment means (6a) to each other. Attachment means (6a) can be moved in relation to connection means (5a). Locking means (7a) are functionally combined with attachment means (6a) and are adapted to lock torch (6) in place in attachment means (6a) as well as to lock attachment means (6a) into different positions in relation to connection means (5a) such that distance from torch (6) to work subject and position of torch (6) in relation to connection means can be locked in place. Result is fast adjustment of welding torch when direction of welding and welded object changes, thereby providing simultaneous installation of angles and distance of welding torch head relative to welding of object.

EFFECT: attachment and movement of welding torch, cutting torch or other corresponding torch (6) at work site.
