FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine, specifically to methods for diagnosis of breast pathology. Method includes measuring surface temperature of mammary gland. Measurements are carried out above zones of milk tank, symmetrical in acupuncture points. When temperature difference at points is 0.8-1.0 °C subclinical mastitis is diagnosed. If difference is more than 2.0 °C acute form of mastitis is diagnosed. Infrared thermometer is used for non-contact temperature measurement.
EFFECT: method provides improved accuracy of diagnosis of breast pathology.
