SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for treating an illite-containing formation, preferably a sandstone formation. Method of treating an illite-containing formation includes introducing a fluid containing glutamic N,N-diacetic acid or a salt thereof into formation. Fluid for treating an illite-containing formation includes glutamic N,N-diacetic acid or a salt thereof (GLDA), a corrosion inhibitor and a surfactant. Invention is developed in dependent claims.
EFFECT: technical result is high efficiency of treating illite-containing formation.
