FIELD: textile and paper.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in pulp and paper industry, particularly in production of different types of paper or cardboard. In invention obtained is aqueous solution of copolymer of methyl methacrylate, stearyl methacrylate, cyclohexyl methacrylate, dimethylamino ethyl methacrylate in water at specified ratio of components in copolymer. Copolymer can additionally contain acrylic acid.
EFFECT: high hydrophobicity and mechanical strength of paper and cardboard.
