FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for pumping out from high-viscosity oil grades and oil products with abrasive inclusions. Pump unit equipped with device for heating of pumped medium has a detachable tubular heating element made in the form of tubular frame with inlet and outlet pipes for supply of heating medium. Centrifugal vertical pump has an automated control system connected with heat generator, heating element and temperature sensor are installed in the pump inlet. Pump unit with device for heating of pumped medium provides a cheap and reliable method of achieving the required parameters of pumped medium at continuous pump operation, which broadens the range of centrifugal pump applications.
EFFECT: pump unit design is simple and ease in operation.
