SUBSTANCE: invention relates to specialized means of digital image processing. A device for converting digital images taken during histological examination, comprising: a two-dimensional array forming components X, Y and Z, whose input is connected to the output unit for generating and storing the original image; forming unit normalized histogram statistics for the components X, Y and Z, whose input is connected to the output of the formation of two-dimensional arrays of components X, Y and Z; histogram statistics verification unit, whose input is connected to the output unit for generating normalized histogram statistics for the components X, Y and Z; driving unit and converting into CIE LAB color space and a conversion unit in the RGB color space, the input of each of which is connected to a corresponding output of the scan histogram statistics for the components X, Y and Z, and the output - is connected to the corresponding input of the merge and storage.

EFFECT: apparatus extends the functionality and can be used for histological studies, for data pre-processing in the CCD histogram statistics in the two color spaces simultaneously - CIELAB and RGB.
