FIELD: physics, navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar data display systems and specifically to systems and methods for three-dimensional imaging of a brightness radar map, and can be used in security radar systems. The result is achieved via three-dimensional visual display of the power level of the radar signal reflected by both the underlying surface and objects on said surface, and a wider dynamic range owing to further use of a pseudo-colour for visual colour display of the power level of the radar signal.
EFFECT: improved imaging, specifically high granularity of radar information.
