SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building. Machine for polishing carrot seeds comprises a polishing drum, a hopper and an unloading chute. Polishing drum is made helical, with formation along internal perimeter opposed three and more zigzag right and left helical lines, and also internal three and more helical grooves with identical pitch from sections made up of two subsections made from three and more series connected among themselves lateral sides of isosceles trapeziums and isosceles triangles with their bases in subsection are opposed. Sections are interconnected by larger bases of trapeziums while subsections are integrated in section so that bases of isosceles triangles of one subsection are connected to top base of second subsection isosceles trapeziums. Inner surface of polishing screw is covered by a layer of rubber drum, and inside it on entire length of coil spring is fixedly secured to vary tension of its length.

EFFECT: invention allows to expand technological capabilities, simplify design and improve performance.
