FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a door station for a door phone system. Disclosed is a door system comprising a speech processing means, which includes a microphone (2), a storage device (4) for reference data, designed to store all surnames of residents, and a surname comparing device which includes a processing and control unit (5). The storage device for reference data stores the association of a particular surname with a particular apartment station (8-12), and the processing and control unit evaluates the match between the surname of a resident being visited which is pronounced by a visitor and picked up by the microphone and the stored surnames in the storage device for reference data. If a match is established between a particular stored surname and the pronounced surname, the processing and control unit controls a display and operation panel (3) to visually, through lighting modes, highlight a call button, or a surname, or a symbol on the said panel, associated with a particular apartment station and therefore a particular surname.
EFFECT: wider range of door phone system equipment.
