FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of coatings on metal surface using concentrated energy flows and can be used in mining and other industries. Method involves electric explosion of composite electrically blasted conductor consisting of two-layer flat molybdenum shell weight 60-530 mg and core in form of powder of titanium diboride weight equal to 0.5-2.0 weight of cladding, formation of products of explosion pulse multiphase plasma jet, melting steel surface at absorbed power density 3.5-4.5 GW/m2, deposition on surface of explosion products to produce composite coating system TiB2-Mo and further pulse periodic electron bunch treatment of surface coating at absorbed power density 40-60 J/cm2, pulse duration of 150-200 mcs and number of pulses of 10-30.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at obtaining wear-resistant coatings with high adhesion to base at cohesion level.
