FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of heat generation for soot emission and reduction of leaked NH3 in exhaust system, said method includes: injection of nitrogenous reducing agent into the exhaust flow containing NOx; reduction of said NOx using said nitrogenous reducing agent in the presence of the selective catalytical reduction catalyst SCR to make the gas flow with reduced NOx content which at least periodically contains some leaked nitrogenous reducing agent; HC injection into said gas flow with reduced content of NOx with formation of HC-enriched gas flow; making contact of HC-enriched gas flow with combined catalyst to form a heated gas flow, wherein said combined catalyst contains the first layer with oxidation catalyst for oxidation of at least a portion of said HC to heat the said heated gas flow, and the second layer having a SCR catalyst for recovery of at least part of NOx in said heated gas flow; and bringing in contact said heated gas flow with particulate filter for regeneration of the filter from soot. Invention also relates to exhaust processing system, including: pipeline for transportation of NOx containing exhaust gas from the engine into the atmosphere; nozzle for injection of nitrogenous reducing agent into said exhaust gas; SCR catalyst, configured to contact with said exhaust gas and recovery of NOx using said nitrogenous reducing agent to form a gas flow with reduced NOx content in which at least periodically contained by leaked nitrogenous reducing agent; HC-nozzle for injection well above gas flow with reduced NOx content with formation of HC-enriched gas flow; combined catalyst made to contact with said HC-enriched gas flow with formation of heated gas flow, the combined catalyst contains first layer with oxidation catalyst for oxidation of said leaked nitrogenous reducing agent and said HC to heat said heated gas flow, and the second layer having a SCR catalyst for reducing NOx in said heated gas stream; and filter designed to contact with said heated gas flow for regeneration of particulate filter from soot contained therein.

EFFECT: technical result consists in simplification of exhaust system which removes leaked ammonia.
