FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalysts used to reduce amount of ammonia in exhaust gases generated during combustion of rich fuel mixtures. System for reducing emission of ammonia contains first component containing a first substrate having a triple catalyst, where first component is located before second component containing a second substrate containing ammonia oxidation catalyst and oxygen-containing gas inlet arranged between components. Ammonia oxidation catalyst contains a first catalytic layer containing fine-pore molecular sieve containing a transition metal. First catalytic layer does not contain ruthenium, rhodium, palladium, rhenium, iridium, platinum.
EFFECT: providing high-selective conversion of NH3 to N2, which reduces amount of ammonia in exhaust flow.
