FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to quality control of products, in particular, large-size rocket fuel tanks. Method consists in selection of informative quality parameters (ICP) when making thin-wall tank shell. Herewith so called reference points, determining the weakest places of its structure, containing boundary ICP characteristics are specified. Initial imperfections of shape, measured over the entire surface of fuel tank shell in several interconnected sections, are selected. Obtained data is converted and processed for use in acceptance and selective control.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of making decision on approving article for series production, in automation and higher control efficiency.
