FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to centrifugal pumps with cantilever installed impeller for pumping of fluids containing solid substances, particularly waste water. Centrifugal pump includes housing (1) with hole (7) and inlet hole (8) for outlet of medium and impeller (2) located on driven shaft. Housing (1) includes suction area (4) on front side gear (2) facing to hole (7) inlet, and area (5) discharge, located along perimeter of impeller 2, and space (6) behind wheel (2) made on side remote from opening (7). Structural gap (3) leading to space (6) is completely sealed from pumped fluid relative to flow zone by means of sealing element (9), sliding along wear-resistant surface (10) of wheel skid (2). Supply and discharge of air from space (6) is performed due to its connection to area (5) discharge.

EFFECT: inventions are aimed at prevention of weaving fibres in bundles and jamming of contaminants in area of gap space behind impeller.
