FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to production of cold-wrought seamless pipes from titanium alloy Ti-3Al-2.5V. Method involves production of ingots and forging ingot into cylindrical workpiece in several passes with alternation of deformation in β-and (α + β)-areas. Workpiece is mechanically processed, compacted to bar, tubular billet is drilled, straightened and machined surface. Tubular billet is subjected to oxidative annealing, then subjected to cold rolling by at least two passes with deformation degree of 45-60 % during intermediate and final heat treatment. One performs finishing treatment and ultrasound control. Tubular billet is cold rolled by at least three passes with deformation degree of 45-75 % to produce pipe. One performs final heat treatment. Produced pipe is subjected to finishing treatment and ultrasonic inspection.
EFFECT: fabricated pipe of small diameter are characterised by high mechanical properties.
