FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science, particularly to animal breeding. For long-term hygienic protection of cows dug softening and moistening cows dug agent is used for after milking treatment. Agent contains aqueous solution of chlorine dioxide, glycerin and xanthan gum in following proportions, wt. %: 90 mg/l water solution of chlorine dioxide is 93.8-93.2; glycerin is 6.0-6.5; xanthane gum is 0.2-0.3.
EFFECT: invention ensures preventive activity and lasting hygienic protection of cows dug.
