FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to development of new adhesives for surgery that can ensure reliable hemo, pneumatic and cholestasis, wound sealing surfaces when performing surgical operations on hollow organs and parenchymal organs, particularly liver. Described is an adhesive which contains polyoxypropylene glycol with molecular weight greater than 3,000, isocyanate-containing component - 4,4-diphenylmethanediisocyanate, catalyst - oxypropylated ethylenediamine.
EFFECT: adhesive shows improved adhesion properties, good biocompatibility, hydrophilic properties, bactericidal and haemostatic properties, high tightness of anastomosis and surgical sutures in abdominal surgeries.
