FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and systems of well telemetry between ground control unit and downhole device arranged in the well shaft passing through geological formation. Disclosed is a telemetry system, containing ground-based control unit, downhole device with mounting seat on the top end and the transceiver on logging cable with possibility to dock with free end into a mounting seat of the downhole device. Transceiver is equipped with a small-sized acoustic receiver-transmitter and a complex downhole instrument is equipped with mating acoustic receiver-transmitter installed in the body of downhole instrument in close proximity to the mounting seat.
EFFECT: providing accurate and reliable information exchange between the downhole equipment and ground recording and control systems without wet contact of logging cable with downhole instrument.
