FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for contactless well telemetry, which includes transmitting and reading an information spectrum between a ground-based recording and control system and an integrated logging tool via an intermediate receiving-transmitting device, lowered on a logging cable and interfaced with a logging tool. The receiving-transmitting device is pre-equipped with a small-size antenna and a signal spectrum converter; the logging tool is equipped with a reciprocal small-size antenna and a reciprocal signal spectrum converter for transmitting information. Information transmission is carried out via cable-magnetic link, wherein the information spectrum read and transmitted via a Manchester-2 code between the receiving-transmitting device and the integrated logging tool, during operation, is transferred to a high-frequency domain and back.
EFFECT: providing accuracy and reliable information exchange between a logging tool and ground-based recording and control systems without wet contact between the logging cable and the logging tool.
