FIELD: laser engineering.
SUBSTANCE: laser receiver that can be used as a receiver for a laser radar system and system of laser space communication, based on super-regenerative receiving laser signals ranging and communication in optical domain, thereby implementing receiving device having a limit of quantum (single-photon) sensitivity and simultaneously high noise immunity reception of laser signals. Receiving device includes feedback based on acousto-optic modulator, which enables spatial filtering of signals.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of sensitivity of laser receiver, provision of fast frequency tuning of receiving band and narrow-band filtering of received laser radiation, ensuring compensation of Doppler frequency shift of laser radiation, reception error compensation wave fronts of received and heterodyne laser radiation at input of photodetector.
