FIELD: laser location, quantum electronics. SUBSTANCE: technical result lies in increased efficiency and range of laser location system, raised sensitivity in reception of weak optical signals with great length of pulse to level of sensitivity limited by quantum limit, enhanced probability of detection and reception of single-photon pulse signals, realization of high noise immunity against background radiation and interference with threshold level of noise exceeding spectral brightness of solar radiation. This technical result is achieved by formation of signal-analog of received radiation after spectral selection and amplification of received radiation with the aid of active quantum filter. Statistical parameters of radiation across output of active quantum filter are measured by means of active quantum filter in each partial spatial angle of reception. Value of function of deviation of statistical parameters from average value is found, cross correlation of signal-analog of received radiation and deviation function and summary value of function of deviation in observation interval are determined. Obtained values are compared with threshold level. EFFECT: improved functional capabilities of method and laser location device. 18 cl, 16 dwg
